UK Music Album Chart November

We have taken a look at the top U.K. Album charts to help you with your choice of Christmas CDs. There are some super albums in the list and you can be sure of best prices at Find–CD.

Susan Boyle has jumped to the top of the charts with her new release "Someone to Watch Over Me". This is the third album for Susan who was widely acclaimed after coming second in the final of "Britain's Got Talent" in 2009. Although she does attract stern criticism at times there is no denying the popularity of this lady with a beautiful voice and this latest album could well hang onto first place in the charts right up to Christmas.

Jumping into second place it's Michael Buble with his Christmas album. There are plenty of classic seasonal songs given the smooth Buble treatment. This is a fabulous addition to a Christmas CD collection.

Florence and the Machine are down to third place but the new album Ceremonials is stunning. Harmonious, powerful and emotional this album is incredibly intense, spiritual in essence, a fitting showcase for her unique voice.

Cher Lloyd is a new entry at number 4. The 18 year old who found fame after appearing on the X Factor is showing some maturity and this album reveals some unexpected talent. It's sure to be on a few Christmas wish lists.

Another new entry is The Wanted at number 5 with their second album release Battleground. The boy band has produced a good album with plenty of dance numbers. It should be appealing to the young.

Coldplay are down to number 6 with Mylo Xyloto presumably because of the Christmas releases, but they are a quality, enduring band and this is a great album. I think we can expect more from them.

This joyful album by the "Waltz King" is new in 7th place. The music is energetic, colourful and the exuberance and enthusiasm of Rieu shines through it. Guaranteed to have you waltzing around the kitchen.

Noel Gallagher's debut solo album has slipped down the charts this week, but his talent is apparent. There is no doubt that he is a very good stand alone singer songwriter. There are no mixed feelings about this album. It's worthy of any CD collection.

Award winner Adele is down 2 at number 9 but this glorious album will endure far beyond Christmas. The lyrics are beautiful and the emotion and passion in the voice make this an essential album for any collection. Adele is currently having a problem with her voice and we wish her a speedy recovery.

With his new album due for release on 21 November Ed Sheeran is becoming ever more popular. There are some good lyrics on this album with very nice guitar backing. He has obvious talent and a smooth clear voice well suited to the ballads he performs .This album is a step in the right direction for him and promises more from Mr. Sheeran.

There are some excellent new releases for November.
