Performers help boost Children In Need donations

The BBC's annual Children In Need telethon took place last night, with the support of a whole host of starts from stage and screen, the event yet again raised incredible amounts of money for needy children across the world.

The casts from Eastenders, The Bill and Hollyoaks, as well as the presenters from the One Show each took part in their own musicals, whilst Pixie Lott and JLS performed.

The highlight of the show, which kicked off on BBC 1 at 7pm and ran until the early hours of the morning, saw Peter Kay exclusively perform his new single in aid of the charity.
