40,000 Free Radio 1 Big Weekend tickets available Monday!

Registration for Radio 1's Big Weekend opens on Monday 26th April 2010, with 40,000 free tickets up for grabs for this year's festival!

To get your hands on the tickets you'll need to keep checking the Radio 1 website for registration information, once you've registered a ticket ballot will then take place to allocate the tickets to the applicants. In past years over 300,000 people have registered for tickets, so it's literary the luck of the draw as to whether you'll receive any.

This year's Big Weekend takes place at Bangor in North Wales over the 22nd-23rd May. So far the artists that have been confirmed to perform include, Pixie Lott, Jaguar Skills and the Lostprophets.
