V Festival ticket countdown - available 9 am this Friday!

In only a matter of days tickets for one of the most anticipated summer festivals go on sale. At 9am this Friday (5th March 2010) thousands of V Festival ticket hunters will eagerly sit by their computers or put their phones on redial in the hope of bagging a pass to a weekend of world class performances and wonderful weather (hopefully!).

This year the V Festival will see Kasabian and Kings of Leon headlining the weekend's events, which take place in Weston Park Staffordshire and Hylands Park Chelmsford, from Saturday 21st August to Sunday 22nd August.

Other acts set to perform include Stereophonics, Paul Weller, Faithless, Paolo Nutini, Cheryl Cole, Mika, La Roux, Temper Trap. Pixie Lott, The Prodigy and Florence & The Machine.

Tickets are available to buy from ticketmaster at 9am on Friday 5th – buy tickets here. Tickets are priced at; Day tickets £78.50 (£7.65 booking fee), Weekend Non camping £140.00 (£8.95 booking fee) and Weekend with camping (£165.00 (£9.75 booking fee).
