Recently I have listened to this incredible Artist live at Wigmore Hall in London. She played with a silky tone letting her violin resonate without much vibrato. Ibragimova does the same with Bach. Although Bach requires a high level of technical mastery from the performer, she manages to present here a light version of these violin solo masterpieces. This style of playing brings new colours to this music and the polyphony and melodic lines can be enjoyed by anyone looking for a nice introduction to the Baroque violin.
