So after 1989's successful SONIC TEMPLE, the now rejuvenated Cult returned with CEREMONY based around elements of American Indian culture touched upon on the last album but now brought to the forefront in this album full of acoustic melodies and essence of hard rock although a lot tamer than that of the latter but still just as listenable then as it is now.

Kicking off with the title track, Ian Astbury (singer) keeps wailing like he does best and brings us such classics as 'Wild Hearted Son', 'Earth Mofo' & 'Heart Of Soul'. But like any good album, it is the songs that are never mentioned that are classics in their own rights like 'White', 'If', the title track and 'Sweet Salvation'.

All in all well worth the listen so go buy it now.
