Tesla formed in 1986 and, compared to their popularity in the US, they are relatively unknown here in the UK but that's about to change after you read this review.

BUST A NUT is the first album that got me into this band and to be honest, despite what other reviews have said about this very album, I like it as it's easy to listen to. It isn't your usual 'throw in as many hard rock anthems and hope the fans like it' affair and throws in so much more, with a good mix of ballads in between the band's trademark hard rock songs.

My favourite song is 'Shine Away' because it's a hard rock song with a fantastic solo that you hope will never end and keeps going and going - you're almost forced to push the volume up higher and higher!

So, if you've never heard of Tesla then buy this album!

If you like Tesla but have been put off by reviews of this album then ignore them and buy it anyway as it rightly should be in your collection!
